For this house project, Semplicemente Legno has undertaken the realisation of both its exteriors and interiors (flooring and cladding): a touch of elegance that has resulted in an incredibly beautiful aesthetic effect. The house exterior is made from western red cedar wood, which is strong and durable but also harmonious, like a violin. This material is used to make a particular type of wooden roof shingles called "scandole", typically found in mountainous regions. The made-to-measure external cladding is sloped to facilitate drainage and gives the property personality and a modern and refined look that creates a sense of boundless harmony. The indoor flooring is custom-coloured tobacco-brown slat wood.
